When you change your email address in your profile, the new address must be confirmed before MeetOne uses it for sign-in and notifications.
Why is confirmation needed?
Confirmation makes sure you actually have access to the new email address. Until the new address is confirmed, your previous email address stays active for sign-in and notifications, and we also notify that previous address about the requested change.
How to confirm your new email address
- After changing your email address, open the inbox of the new address.
- Open the email with the subject "Verify your email address".
- Click the confirmation link in the email.
Your new address becomes active and you're signed in automatically.
Resend the confirmation email
- Open Profile from the main menu.
- In the Credentials section, you'll see a notice that your new address hasn't been confirmed yet.
- Click Resend verification.
The confirmation link is valid for 2 days. If it has expired, just request a new email via Resend verification.
Troubleshooting
Email doesn't arrive - Check your spam or junk folder. - Make sure you entered the new email address correctly. If not, change it again in your profile. - Request the confirmation again via Resend verification.
The link no longer works - Confirmation links are valid for 2 days. Simply request a new one once it has expired.
I don't see a confirmation notice - The notice only appears while an email change is pending. If you haven't changed your address, no confirmation is needed.
