This article explains which cookies and tracking technologies MeetOne uses, and how you can manage them.

What cookies does MeetOne set?

MeetOne sets only strictly necessary cookies within the application – no cookies for advertising or marketing purposes. For participants and professionals, this is a single session cookie:

  • Validity: only for the duration of your browser session.
  • Purpose: identifying your signed-in session, temporarily displaying your name during a video appointment, and showing your preferred language.

If the televisite guest access for external physicians is enabled for your organization, MeetOne additionally sets a strictly necessary access cookie for those guests. It is limited to the validity period of the guest access (at most seven days) and expires automatically afterwards.

The legal basis for these cookies is § 25(2) no. 2 of the German TDDDG, since they are technically necessary to provide the application to you – no consent is required for them.

To analyze and improve MeetOne, we use Rybbit, a self-hosted, open-source analytics tool. Rybbit works entirely without cookies: it does not store any cookies on your device, collects usage data only in anonymized, aggregated form, and does not use long-term user identifiers. Since this does not involve tracking via cookies or beyond your session, no consent is required for it. No analytics software is loaded on the pages of the televisite guest access for external physicians.

Tracking pixels during registration

For individual organizations, MeetOne can include additional tracking pixels, such as Google Tag Manager or the Meta Pixel, in the registration process for new participants (onboarding) as part of an individual white-label configuration, to measure the success of the organization's own advertising campaigns. This is not part of the standard configuration and may or may not be present, depending on your organization's configuration. Where it is active, these services set their own cookies; the respective organization, as the operator, is responsible for obtaining any consent that may be required for this.

Managing or deleting cookies

You can view, block, or delete cookies at any time in your browser settings. Since MeetOne itself sets only strictly necessary cookies within the application, deleting them may require you to sign in again.
