Practices and organizations that use MeetOne to process personal data need a data processing agreement (DPA, or "AVV" in German) with MeetOne. This article explains who needs one, what it covers, and how to get it.

Who needs a DPA?

If your practice or organization uses MeetOne to process personal data, MeetOne acts as your data processor under data protection law (Art. 28 GDPR) – your organization remains the controller for this data. A DPA documents this processing relationship and is a prerequisite for using MeetOne in compliance with data protection law.

What the DPA covers

The data processing agreement includes, among other things:

  • the technical and organizational measures (TOMs) used to protect personal data,
  • the list of subprocessors involved.

How to get MeetOne's DPA

  1. As the organization owner, open Legal documents under the Organization menu.
  2. In the Data Processing Agreement (DPA) section, click Create document.
  3. Fill out the form that opens with your organization's details.
