Where is my data stored?

MeetOne stores your data in certified data centers in Germany and the European Union – protected by encryption and clearly defined access rights.

Where exactly is my data stored?

The data stored in MeetOne – such as your account, appointments, documents, and treatment records – is processed and stored on servers located in Germany and the European Union. The primary data center is certified to ISO/IEC 27001 and holds a BSI C5:2020 (Type 2) attestation – recognized standards for information security. Processing takes place under applicable German and European data protection law. For individual technical services, such as sending emails, MeetOne uses service providers; see the privacy policy for details.

How is my data protected?

• In transit: Your connection to MeetOne is encrypted throughout – TLS secures communication with the server, and SRTP/DTLS protect the video and audio transmitted during your video appointment.
• Video consultation: Video, audio, chat, and shared screen content are transmitted end-to-end encrypted between you and your organization. MeetOne never has access to this content.
• Particularly sensitive data: Particularly sensitive content, such as treatment documentation, is additionally stored encrypted in the database (AES-256).

Who can access my data?

• Your organization can see the data collected as part of your own care there – no other organization or participant can.
• Access by MeetOne staff is limited to what is strictly necessary for technical operations.
• The content of your video appointment is generally not accessible to MeetOne at all.

Who is responsible for my data under data protection law?

For data collected as part of your treatment, your organization is generally the data controller; MeetOne processes this data only as a processor on your organization's instructions. For more on your rights and how to exercise them, see Your rights under the GDPR.
