The master data section of the patient record is where you record allergies, chronic conditions, and your patients' current medication in one place.

Prerequisites

  • The patient record must be enabled for your account.
  • Adding and editing entries is reserved for doctors; medical assistants need extended permissions to do so, depending on your account's configuration.

Open master data

  1. Open the patient record for the patient in question.
  2. Select the Master data section.

Edit insurance and blood group

Click Edit in the Insurance section to enter the insurance type, insurance number, insurance company, and blood group.

Record an allergy

  1. Click New in the Allergies & intolerances section.
  2. Enter the substance and reaction, and choose the severity (e.g. mild, moderate, severe, life-threatening).
  3. Optionally add the confirmed on date and any notes.
  4. Click Save.

Recorded allergies are shown as an alert so they aren't missed during future consultations.

Record a chronic condition

  1. Click New in the Chronic conditions section.
  2. Enter the diagnosis as free text and optionally add the ICD-10 code (e.g. "E11.9").
  3. Provide the diagnosed on date and the status (active, in remission, resolved, or suspected).
  4. Click Save.

Record medication

  1. Click New in the Medication section.
  2. Enter the name, dosage (e.g. "500 mg"), and frequency (e.g. "1-0-1").
  3. Provide the start date and, if known, the end date.
  4. Click Save.

Medications with an end date in the past stay visible in the list but are marked as "ended".

Edit or delete an entry

Open an existing entry via Edit to adjust its details, or remove it via Delete. A confirmation prompt appears before anything is permanently deleted.

Common problems

  • I don't see the Master data section. The patient record may not be enabled for your account — contact your practice administrator or our support team.
  • I can't save an entry. Check the required fields, for example Substance for allergies or Name for medications.
  • I can't edit or delete an entry. You may be missing the necessary permissions — contact your practice administrator.
