If an organization has no free appointments right now, you can join its waitlist, if it offers one. It gets in touch by email as soon as a place becomes available. You don't need a MeetOne account for this.

Sign up

  1. Open the waitlist link the organization gave you or offers on its website. Some organizations also offer the Waitlist in a window on their website.
  2. Fill in the form. You can leave fields marked (optional) empty. If the organization asks questions of its own, answer those too.
  3. Read the consent and tick the box.
  4. Click Join the waitlist.

You now see Please confirm your email address. You are only on the waitlist once you have done so.

Confirm your email address

  1. Open the email Please confirm your waitlist entry.
  2. Click Confirm entry.
  3. On the page that opens, click Confirm email address.

You see You are on the waitlist. The link in the email is valid for 7 days. If you don't confirm in time, your details are deleted and you can sign up again.

When a place becomes available

The organization sends you an email with the subject … would like to schedule an appointment with you.

  1. Click Select Appointment in the email.
  2. If offered, choose the kind of appointment, then a free time.
  3. Confirm the booking.

The appointment is booked immediately, and you receive an appointment confirmation by email. If it's a video appointment, Join your video appointment explains how to take part.

Stay on the waitlist

While you wait, the organization asks you every 6 months by email Are you still interested?. Click Yes, keep me on the list, and on the page that follows click Yes, keep me on the list again.

If you don't answer within 30 days, your entry is archived and deleted 30 days later. Until then, you can still use the button in the email to get back on the waitlist.

Leave the waitlist

Every waitlist email contains the link Remove me from the waitlist and delete my data. at the bottom.

  1. Click the link.
  2. On the Leave the waitlist page, click Remove me and delete my data.

Your entry and all the details you entered are deleted immediately. This cannot be undone. If you didn't sign up yourself, use Delete my data now. in the confirmation email, or simply ignore the email.

Troubleshooting

  • The confirmation email doesn't arrive. Check your spam folder. If you mistyped your email address, simply sign up again.
  • Confirming shows "Invalid or expired link". The link is older than 7 days or has already been used. If you have already confirmed your address, you are on the waitlist and don't need to do anything. Otherwise, please sign up again.
  • The form shows "Waitlist not available". The organization isn't accepting new entries at the moment.
  • The booking link doesn't work. The organization has since sent you a new invitation, you have already booked through this invitation, or your entry is no longer on the waitlist. Use the most recent email or contact the organization.
