Connect your Outlook Calendar to the planner so your Outlook calendar events show up there automatically.
Prerequisites
- This feature is available in the planner, if enabled for your account.
- A Microsoft account with access to the calendar you want to connect.
How to connect your Outlook Calendar
- Open Planner in the sidebar and click the Add external calendar icon at the top, to open the Add calendar dialog.
- In the Outlook Calendar section, click Connect.
- Sign in in the Microsoft window that opens and grant MeetOne the requested permission. The window then closes automatically.
- Choose which of your Outlook calendars should be synced.
What gets synced
MeetOne reads your Outlook calendar events and automatically adds them to your planner, where they're shown with their title – so you can see at a glance when you're already booked elsewhere. Events marked "Free" in Outlook aren't carried over. The first sync happens right after connecting, then automatically several times a day in the background.
Syncing only runs in one direction: your Outlook calendar events appear in your planner. MeetOne appointments are not written back to your Outlook Calendar. Only you see the titles of your Outlook calendar events – participants never see any details from them.
Disconnecting
Open Planner in the sidebar, click the Add external calendar icon, then click Disconnect in the Outlook Calendar section. Any events already imported from that calendar are immediately removed from your planner.
Common issues
- Access to my Microsoft account was revoked. Disconnect and reconnect to resume syncing.
- Calendar sync failed. Disconnect and reconnect your account.
- Events from my Outlook Calendar aren't showing up in the planner. Check that the relevant calendar is enabled under Select calendars to sync.
