Is a message stuck in "Sending..." status, not arriving, or you're not getting notified about new messages? The steps below cover the most common causes.

Prerequisites

Messaging is available if this feature is enabled for your organization. If you don't see a Messages menu item in your account, contact your organization.

Message not sending

  1. Check your internet connection.
  2. Reload the page and try again.
  3. If an attachment is included: check its file size (see below), and try sending without the attachment as a test.
  4. Copy the message text before reloading the page, so it isn't lost.

"Attachment too large"

Attachments can be up to 25 MB.

  • Resize or compress the file, e.g. for photos or scanned documents.
  • Split larger documents across multiple messages if needed.

You're not receiving messages

  1. Refresh your message inbox (reload the page).
  2. Check whether there's an active care relationship between you and the other person — messages can't be exchanged without one.
  3. Check your notification settings, see Desktop notifications not showing.

Email notifications about new messages

When a new message arrives, MeetOne sends a short email notification with a link back to the platform.

  • Check your spam or junk folder if these emails don't arrive.
  • Add the sender address to your contacts so future emails arrive reliably.

The actual message content is only shown inside MeetOne, never in the email. Open the message directly in the platform.
