This article only applies if usage-based billing has been agreed for your organization; MeetOne's standard plans do not bill video appointments by the minute. With usage-based billing, you pay for video appointments based on the time actually used, rather than a fixed flat rate.
How billing works
- Billing is based on the actual attendance time of everyone in a video appointment — not the originally scheduled appointment duration.
- Each person is billed for their own attendance time in the video room.
- Partial minutes are rounded fairly to full minutes.
- Very short or dropped connection attempts generally don't result in billing.
The exact rounding and calculation rules may change over time. If you have questions about a specific charge, reach out to our support team.
Where to see your usage
This view is available if you have administrator access to your MeetOne environment – for example as the operator of a dedicated instance. Otherwise our support team is happy to provide your usage overview.
- Open your MeetOne environment's admin area and select Appointments.
- Open a completed appointment. Under Actual Duration you'll see the billed time compared to the Planned Duration.
- For an overview across multiple appointments, use the More actions menu and select Export Billing (XLSX) — the file lists the billable minutes per appointment.
For details on your current plan, see MeetOne plans at a glance; for invoice questions, see Manage invoices and payment methods.
