Here are quick answers to the questions we hear most often from participants.

Do I need an app to join a video appointment?

No. MeetOne runs directly in your browser, so there is nothing to install. You just need your join link, a camera and a microphone. See all the steps in Join a video call.

What does using the video appointment cost me?

Nothing. Using the video appointment is free for you — your organization provides this service as part of your care. The cost of the service itself is still handled by your organization or your insurer, just like an in-person appointment.

Can I join from my smartphone?

Yes. MeetOne works equally well on smartphone, tablet and computer — directly through the browser, with no extra app. We recommend using an up-to-date browser such as Chrome, Safari, Edge or Firefox.

What happens if I'm late or my organization is running late?

Open your join link once joining is possible — from about two hours before the appointment. The appointment starts once both sides have joined. If your appointment is delayed significantly, it's best to contact your organization directly to check on the next steps.

Can a relative join?

If the person is sitting with you in front of your device, that's always possible without any extra setup. If they need to join separately — for example from a different location — your organization can add them as an additional participant when scheduling the appointment, and they'll receive their own join link. This option is available if enabled for your account — ask your organization about it in advance.

Is the video appointment private and secure?

Yes. Your connection is encrypted and usually runs directly between you and your organization; no one takes part in the conversation apart from you, your organization, and any additional participants your organization has invited. For more technical detail, see FAQ on technical and privacy topics and Privacy & Security.

How do I cancel or reschedule my appointment?

Open the link from your appointment confirmation email — that page lets you cancel your appointment or move it to a different time. Depending on your organization, notice periods or other conditions may apply; if in doubt, contact your organization directly.

Where do I find my documents or prescriptions?

Prescriptions and documents your organization makes available after your appointment show up in your MeetOne account once they've been released to you.
