A MeetOne organization has two roles for team members, plus an additional permission that can be assigned to a person. This article explains what each of them can do.

The two member roles

  • Practitioner — runs their own consultations and appointments.
  • Medical Assistant — supports practitioners with organizational tasks, for example appointments and contacts.

You assign these two roles as an organization owner via Organization > Users — see Invite and manage team members. Participants are not organization members; they are linked to your practitioners through appointments.

Organization owner

In addition to their role, a person can be marked as an organization owner. This permission — not the role itself — determines who can manage the organization. An organization can have several organization owners, regardless of whether they hold the Practitioner or Medical Assistant role.

"Organization owner" is not a separate role — it's an additional permission layered on top of the Practitioner or Medical Assistant role.

Troubleshooting

  • A team member doesn't see the "Questionnaires" area. Only organization owners and medical assistants have access there; practitioners without owner status don't see this area.
  • A team member can't manage users. Only organization owners can add, edit, or remove team members, regardless of their role.
