Some appointments need to be confirmed by you before they're final. Whether this applies to your appointment is decided by your organization when it schedules the appointment.
How to confirm your appointment
- You'll receive an email with the subject "Appointment confirmation required" — open the Confirm appointment now link inside it.
- You'll see the appointment details: organization, date, time, and your own information.
- If the appointment requires a consent declaration, read and accept it first. Only then can you confirm the appointment.
- Click Confirm appointment.
Once confirmed, you'll receive a confirmation email and the appointment's status changes from Unconfirmed to Confirmed. Your organization is notified automatically as well.
The same page also lets you cancel the appointment or — if enabled by your organization — reschedule it. Once the appointment is confirmed, the button to join the video appointment appears there too.
Common problems
- No confirm button showing? The appointment is already confirmed, has been cancelled, or is already in the past — in these cases no further confirmation is needed or possible.
- The consent declaration keeps showing up? Accept the consent form on the same page first — only then can you confirm the appointment.
- The link leads to an error page? Check that you used the complete link from the email. If the problem continues, contact your organization or reach out to us.
