Here are quick answers to the most common questions from organization owners and admins about team, roles, plans, and more.

How do I add team members to my organization?

As an organization owner, open Organization > Users and add practitioners or medical assistants there. The new person then receives an email with next steps. See Invite and manage team members for the exact steps.

What roles exist in an organization?

Team members have the Practitioner or Medical assistant role. In addition, a person can be marked as an organization owner — this permission, not the role itself, determines who can manage the organization. See Understand roles and permissions for more.

How do seats work?

Every active person with the practitioner role uses a seat in your plan; medical assistants don't count toward this and don't need their own seat. See Manage seats for how to check your seat usage and adjust the count.

Can I change my plan myself?

It depends on your account: if self-service is enabled, you change your plan or adjust the number of users directly on the Plan page. If not, your plan is managed individually by our support team. See Manage your plan and subscription for details.

Can I use my own branding?

You add your organization's logo yourself under Organization > Account. More extensive white-labeling — a custom color scheme or your own domain — is set up together with you. See Set up branding and white-labeling for more.

How do I get a Data Processing Agreement (DPA)?

As an organization owner, you create the DPA yourself under Organization > Legal documents. See Request a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) for who needs one and what it covers.

Is there an API for organizations?

Yes, if the organization API is enabled for your account. Organization owners find their personal API token under Integrations > API. See Get API access and enable webhooks for details; the full reference is available in the developer documentation.
